C onstruction P rocess

Design Consultation at Homesite.  The designer meets on-site with homeowners to define vision, goals, and budget. This technical assessment analyzes property elevations and measurements to ensure the design is tailored to the unique needs of the customer, and is technically sound. Design Review Presentation at our Showroom - Central Florida’s Largest!  Following the on-site consultation, the homeowner visits our APS office, Central Florida’s largest indoor pool showroom , to finalize plans with their assigned Designer. This review covers material selection for tile, pavers, and finishes to ensure their ideal selections are met. Final costs and the contract agreement are then completed. HOA Approval / Permitting / Pre-Site  The APS team provides all construction drawings, including 3D renderings for HOA approval and necessary access letters. American Pools and Spas manages all city and county permits to ensure compliance. During this stage, a pre-site manager visits the property to verify site readiness before construction begins. Onsite Meeting - Super. / Sales  The project Superintendent and Sales Representative meet with the homeowner on-site to review job details and establish communication through Microsoft Teams.

Layout / Dig / Steel  Following the on-site meeting, our Team schedules and oversees the excavation of the homeowner’s new pool. Gunite  Prior to shooting Gunite, all rebar, electrical bonding, and necessary inspections are completed to ensure a strong and safe structure. Tile, Plumbing and Water Features  Once the Gunite has cured, the APS team installs tile, plumbing, and any water features according to the homeowners design specifications. Deck & Coping  Using in-house paver crews, the deck and coping are installed according to the finalized plan. Superintendents conduct a quality check walk-through following this phase to ensure a smooth transition toward project completion. Fence or Screen Enclosure  Florida law requires an approved safety barrier around residential swimming pools, such as fencing or a screen enclosure. Screen enclosures provide additional benefits by reducing insects and debris; enclosures are designed and built in-house using advanced manufacturing processes to ensure a durable and premium product.
